Falls Mill in Belvidere, TN: A Hidden Historic Retreat

While I appreciate the standard vacations to Hilton Head, SC; St Augustine, FL; or Savannah, GA, I’ve also found smaller trips closer to home can be just as fun and soothing for the soul.

Which is why I booked a bed and breakfast at a quaint cabin for my husband on Father’s Day weekend.

Nestled in the quaint town of Belvidere, Tennessee, lies the picturesque Falls Mill—a gem we decided to explore. With its rich history and stunning natural beauty, a visit to Falls Mill promises a unique and unforgettable experience for all who venture to this historic site.

We visited the fully operational historic mill, which was built in the 1870’s, ate some of the best pastries we’ve ever had, and purchased from the store on-site. We also had the opportunity to visit the one-room schoolhouse on the property.

We enjoyed the picturesque setting surrounded by lush greenery and a cascading waterfall which added to the charm and tranquility of the experience.

A visit to Falls Mill in Belvidere, TN offers a unique glimpse into the rich history and natural beauty of the area. From the historic mill building to the picturesque waterfall, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re a history buff, nature lover, or simply looking for a peaceful retreat, Falls Mill is a hidden gem worth exploring.
